Weddings in Toronto

The summer of 2023 was very special for me. I spent several months in Toronto and fell in love with the city and its diverse people. It’s so dynamic and multicultural that sometimes I felt like I didn’t need to travel anymore because the whole world came together in this one place.

And I had the privilege of photographing some beautiful weddings in Toronto. Each one was so different. Traditional in terms of cultural rituals, yet modern in the way they were celebrated. I photographed a Hindu wedding, a Persian wedding, a Greek Orthodox wedding, and a queer wedding. People from all over the world celebrating together. Unimaginable in many countries around the world, but in Toronto, just a reflection of everyday reality.
